Katie Falk works for American Honda Motor Company Inc., in Corporate Social Responsibility. At American Honda, Katie works to coordinate Honda’s North American region philanthropy, national programs, and grantmaking to nonprofits through the American Honda Foundation.

Katie has worked for over 10 years in the field of social services, addressing a number of social issues in the government, nonprofit, and private sectors. Prior to her work at Honda, she was with the City of Los Angeles Mayor’s Office of Gang Reduction and Youth Development overseeing a summertime violence prevention program. Katie worked to expand the program to 32 communities in Los Angeles, provide resources for over 1 million program participants, and promote workforce readiness for 300 youth annually. In addition, Katie worked in capacity-building consulting for national and local foundations and service-delivery organizations facilitating strategic planning, program development, and leadership training.

She received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Spanish from the University of California Los Angeles and her Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California.
