Bio
The 1989 winner of what was then the Honda-Broderick Cup is Villanova’s Vicki Huber, a star in both cross country and track & field. As a Wildcat, she claimed eight NCAA individual indoor and outdoor titles, including three straight in the 3000 meters, and helped lead Villanova to the 1989 NCAA Cross Country team championship. A three-time Honda-Broderick Sports Award winner across track and cross country, Vicki also represented Team USA at the 1988 and 1996 Olympic Games. She was inducted into the Delaware Track & Field Hall of Fame in 2001 and now serves as head coach at Sun Valley High School in Aston, Pennsylvania.
