Bio
In 2000, Cristina Teuscher became the only Ivy League student-athlete ever to win what was then known as the Honda-Broderick Cup. A standout swimmer at Columbia University, Cristina was a four-time NCAA individual champion and 12-time Ivy League titlist, setting 17 school records, and went undefeated in all individual races in every dual meet in which she competed. A member of Columbia’s first Athletic Hall of Fame, Cristina also won Olympic Gold in 1996 and Bronze in 2000, and now coaches the next generation of swimmers at the Sweet Blue Swim Academy in Connecticut, an academy she co-founded with her husband Amerigo Fabbri.
