Jessica Bradley, a senior from Lynn University, was named the golf nominee for the Class of 2015 Division II Honda Athlete of the Year as announced by Executive Director Chris Voelz of THE Collegiate Women Sports Awards (CWSA) presented by Honda.

Bradley, who had won the same honor in 2014, is now designated one of 11 finalists for the prestigious DII Honda Athlete of the Year honor. This will be voted on at the end of the academic year by national balloting among 1,000 NCAA member schools as part of THE CWSA program, now in its 39th year.

A native of Bishops Nympton, England, Bradley was named the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Co-National Player of the Year for the second consecutive season. She became the first student-athlete for Lynn in any sport to be named a two-time national player of the year and is the fourth women's golfer in Division II history to be honored in back-to-back years.

Bradley continued her dominant golfing ways for the 2014-15 season with three tournament victories and 10 top-10 finishes in 11 tournaments.  She is the top-ranked golfer in the NCAA Division II Golfstat Cup, and 81st overall for all NCAA Divisions, NAIA and NJCAA. In addition, she is second in head-to-head competition and third in average scoring (73.78).

She currently holds or shares school records for lowest 18- (68) and 56-hole (216) totals, stroke average (73.27 – 2013-14) and top-10 finishes (13) in a season and stroke average (75.06), top-10 finishes (35) and victories (seven) in a career.

All sports nominees from DII and DIII become a finalist for the prestigious 2015 Honda Collegiate Athlete of the Year in their respective divisions, presented in June. The sports nominees are recognized in 11 DII and DIII NCAA-sanctioned sports; cross country, basketball, field hockey, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming & diving, tennis, volleyball, and track & field.
