Honda Cup Winner Missy Franklin Featured in Times Square

Missy Franklin of the University of California was named the Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year and presented with the prestigious Honda Cup live during THE Collegiate Women Sports Awards show presented by Honda on CBS Sports Network, at the USC Founders Club at Galen Center in Los Angeles.

Cal Swimmer Missy Franklin Wins Honda Cup; Named Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year

Sophomore Missy Franklin (Centennial, Colo.) of the University of California was named the Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year and presented with the prestigious Honda Cup as announced by Erik Wedin, Manager of Corporate Community Relations, American Honda. The award was presented live during THE Collegiate Women Sports Awards show presented by Honda on CBS Sports Network, at the USC Founders Club at Galen Center in Los Angeles.

THE Collegiate Women Sports Award Presented by Honda (CWSA) announced today that the Class of 2015 will “Huddle” at the Orthopaedic Institute for Children (OIC) with current and former patients as well as local youth groups, Las Ninas, in an informal panel discussion led by Summer Sanders (Olympic Gold Medalist and past Honda Sports Award winner) on Monday, June 29th, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am PT.
