The 12 Honda Sport Award winners are finalists for the Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year and the prestigious Honda Cup which will be announced live during the Collegiate Women Sports Awards Show presented by Honda on CBS Sports Network on Monday, June 30, at 7 pm ET, from the CBS Studios in New York City.
The Honda Sports Award is presented annually by the CWSA to the top women athletes in 12 NCAA-sanctioned sports and signifies “the best of the best in collegiate athletics”. The 12 honorees were chosen by a vote of administrators from over 1,000 NCAA member schools and will compete for the Top Three and the Honda Cup.
The two-day event is returning to New York City for it’s second straight year.
In addition to the Honda Cup and Top Three being unveiled, the Collegiate Women Sports Awards Show presented by Honda will also recognize the Class of 2025 Honda Inspiration Award winner, Sidney Barbier (Nordic Skiing, Denver); the DII Honda Athlete of the Year, Alexis Brown (Track & Field, Lenoir-Rhyne) and DIII Honda Athlete of the Year, Olivia Foley (Volleyball, Juniata).
The CWSA Sports Awards presented by Honda will re-air on CBS Sports Network on July 1 (1:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 8:00 PM), July 2 (4:00 AM, 6:00 PM), and July 3 (10:30 AM). All times Eastern.
