
The prestigious Honda Cup winner will be announced live during the Collegiate Women Sports Awards Show presented by Honda on CBS Sports Network on Monday, June 30, at 7:00 pm ET, from the CBS Studios in New York City. The broadcast will honor the 12 Honda Sport Award winners, the Top Three, the DII and DIII Honda Athletes of the Year and the Class of 2025 Honda Inspiration Award winner.
Now in its 49th year celebrating “the best of the best” in collegiate athletics, the CWSA will be joined by two distinguished alumnae: Dr. Ogonna Nnamani Silva (Stanford, Volleyball, Class of 2005) and Megan Hodge Easy (Penn State, Volleyball, Class of 2010), who will take part in the weekend celebration.
“We are thrilled to welcome two of the most accomplished alumnae to this year’s celebration,” stated Chris Voelz, Executive Director of the Collegiate Women Sports Awards. ”Not only were Ogonna and Megan among the greatest athletes of their era, but they’ve gone on to build impactful careers that continue to inspire and uplift others. It’s an honor to have them join us for the two-day celebration alongside our Class of 2025, Board, and guests.”
In addition to unveiling the Honda Cup and the Top Three, the program will spotlight:
- Sidney Barbier (Denver, Nordic Skiing), Class of 2025 Honda Inspiration Award winner
- Alexis Brown (Lenoir-Rhyne, Track & Field), DII Honda Athlete of the Year
- Olivia Foley (Juniata, Volleyball), DIII Honda Athlete of the Year

Member of the US National Team from 2002-2011…became the second woman in history to make the U.S. national team for an Olympic Games while still in college (2004)…part of the second U.S. team in history to reach the Olympic finals earning the silver medal for indoor volleyball in 2008… led Stanford University to three NCAA championship matches, winning the national title in 2001 and 2004…one of the best players in Stanford University's history with a career record of 2,450 kills, for which she entered the Stanford Hall of Fame in 2015… led her professional teams to national league titles in 2007 (Swiss Volleyball League) and 2010 (Czech Extraliga); and a runner-up finish in 2006 (Puerto Rico LVSF)…currently a member of the CWSA Board of Directors representing past Honda Cup winners.
