Gretchen Walsh Earns Honda Cup; Named Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year
June 30, 2025Gretchen Walsh (Nashville, Tenn.), a senior swimmer from the University of Virginia, today was named the Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year and honored with the prestigious Honda Cup during the 49th anniversary broadcast of the Collegiate Women Sports Awards (CWSA) presented by Honda. The celebration aired live from CBS Studios in New York City on CBS Sports Network. Honda served as the presenting sponsor, continuing its 39-year legacy of supporting the program. -
